June 6, 2025
Starting in September, Dawn-Euphemia residents will be able to go to the library five days a week.
Lambton County, which runs the library system, has finalized the new operating hours of the Florence Library as it prepares to close the Shetland Branch.
The library hours will double starting Sept. 1 with the branch open Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 3-8 pm, Tuesday 10-2 pm, and Saturday from 10-3 pm.
There will also be a new computer for children with literacy games, an added public computer workstation and a larger onsite collection.
