Like the movie says; if you build it, they will come.

The Alvinston Pro Rodeo committee brought in larger stands hoping to accommodate visitors to the three-day event. Saturday night, those stands were filled and there were still people looking for seats according to Chairman Dan Cumming.

Here’s just some of the action from the event:

Jeremy Couchane from Quebec was stretched to the limit while riding 759 Done Wrong
Mitch Franz bucking off 441 Apache Junction
Zac Bourgeois, just moments before, 87 Velvet Skies, bucked him off
Alvinston’s Tyler Foster was showing his championship style at the Alvinston Pro Rodeo Saturday. He and Rod Weese dominated the steer wrestling competition at the three-day event, finishing in first and second place. Foster took the buckle with a time of seven seconds
The Trick Riders from Florida and California stoked up the Canadian pride with their routine.
Between events Austin Stewart entertained, including with his rope routine.
Sarah Kipfer of Dublin, Ontario caught the eye of a photographer as she and Riding Justa Dancing Bunny make their way around the poles.
Leah Way, below, is riding Edwards Riding Homeinadash in the Barrel Racing event.
The Cutting Edge Cowgirls showed their precision in the ring as the sun started to set
