The first taste of Northern Premier Hockey League action for the Alvinston Killer Bees will be away from home.  

The Bees open their 20-game regular season with road games against the Bluebirds in Tilbury and the Lakers in Woodstock on Sept. 27 and Oct. 4 respectively.  

Alvinston’s first home game is set for Oct. 11 against the Acton-based Halton Hills Coyotes at 6:45 p.m.  

All but one of the Bees’ home games will be played on Friday nights.

Alvinston will take on Strathroy in a preseason game in Glencoe on Sept. 20. Puck drop is 6:30 p.m.
