Kraig Wright is trading his green and gold of the Petrolia Squires for the yellow and black of the Alvinston Killer Bees for the coming senior hockey season.

The veteran winger has played over 200 regular season senior hockey games with the Squires and Tillsonburg Thunder dating back to 2013.

He has recorded 30 goals and 68 points in 58 games with the Squires over the past three seasons.

Wright’s resume also includes junior hockey with the then Sarnia Blast and Strathroy Rockets as well as four seasons of collegiate hockey with Wisconsin’s Northland College.

The Bees are preparing for its only preseason game prior to the Northern Premier Hockey League season. They’ll take on Strathroy in Glencoe on Saturday, Sept. 20.  Puck drop is 6:30.  Tickets are available at the door.
