Petrolia native dies in Sarnia accident Saturday

Sarnia Police are looking for help after a man walking on East Street North was struck by a car Saturday night.
Police found the obviously injured male in the roadway. Two off-duty nurses were performing CPR as Lambton EMS and Sarnia Fire arrived to take over life-saving measures. But he was pronounced dead.
He has been identified as a 32 year old Sarnia man, Rodney Nesbitt-Mundy. The husband and father of three, grew up in Petrolia.
Police say the driver of the car stopped immediately after the collision and stayed at the scene.
Nesbitt-Mundy’s death is the subject of an ongoing investigation being conducted by the Sarnia Police Traffic Services Unit.
