Rombouts wins LKSSAA golf crown

Kassandra Rombouts carded a 77 this week to win the LKSSAA girls’ golf title by four shots at Willow Ridge in Blenheim.
Meantime, Mooretown’s Ben Grant finished second on the boys leaderboard with a 71 and led his St. Patrick’s Fighting Irish squad to the boys team title at the same event.
The North Lambton team of AJ Wilson, Keegan Turner, Wyatt George and Vaughan Dinel was fourth overall.
Among others to qualify for the SWOSSA event in Essex on Oct. 1 was Petrolia’s Hunter Policicchio of Northern.
