The Petrolia Flyers rallied from a three-goal deficit to tie Thursday’s night PJHL contest at 3 late in the second period. But, the visiting Port Stanley Sailors retook the lead 10 seconds after Petrolia had scored the equalizer and then scored twice in the final 90 seconds of the final frame for a 6-3 victory.

Tyler Strain took the loss with 21 saves as Petrolia outshot the Sailors, 42-27. Andrew Jaques, Isaac Truman and Lucas Rogers scored for the Flyers who are now 2-3 on the season.

Petrolia visits Parkhill to take on North Middlesex tomorrow night.

Mooretown is at Lakeshore tonight.
