Rallying for health care

The Independent
A small group was out waving signs on the corner of London and Murphy roads Sat. Sept 27. Organized by the Sarnia-Lambton Health Coalition, the group was raising awareness and protesting of the privatization of health services in Ontario.
The group’s concerns included the province’s move to allow private cataract surgery clinics, as well as expanding it to hips and knee surgery. The Sarnia-Lambton Heath Coalition wants all of these services to be provided in the public hospital system.
The rally was part of a province-wide push against the privatization of health care.
