A 30 year-old Sarnia man is facing child pornography charges after an investigation by the OPP.

Oct. 6, officers from the OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, Lambton OPP and the Digital Forensics Unit searched a Sarnia home and seized a number of electronic devices.

A 30-year-old from Sarnia, Lloyd Eldon Campbell, was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography and accessing child pornography. He was released on bail after a hearing and will be back in court Nov. 10.

“Online child sexual exploitation is not confined to distant places or anonymous corners of the Internet – it exists in every community,” said Det. Staff Sgt. Chris Barkey. “Each investigation reflects our determination to expose offenders, safeguard victims, and remind the public that vigilance begins at home.”
