This dalmatian wanted an up-close view of the members of the Brigden Royal Canadian Legion and the mass pipe band which led the 175th Brigden Fair Parade Oct. 11. The fair was a big success this year, drawing 49,751 according to Moore Agriculture Society President Michelle Evanitski.

It was wall-to-wall people all weekend at the Brigden Fair as warm, clear weather drew people from
across southern Ontario to the St. Clair Township community for the 175th year of the event.

The Bridgen Optimists’ Club placed first for its Home Grown, Home Made float, complete with little pumpkins and sheep.
The parade drew a significant amount of entries, lasting almost a half hour. two little auctioneers from Great West in Brigden greeted the crowd.
Windy the Clown, also known as Duncan MacRae, joined Golden Ambassadors Joan Bogaert, Jackie South and Dennis Robinson in Robinson’s carriage for the Brigden Fall Fair parade. Even the horses were getting into the celebration with 175 in gold on their side.

Big crowds take in Petrolia’s Canada Day finale

Celebrating Canada’s 159th in Sarnia
