The third time is the charm. The LCCVI Lancers are Lambton-Kent football champions.

The Lancers made it to the finals in 2023 and 2024, losing to Great Lakes both times. This year, LCCVI dominated the opposition.

Hunter Duncan had two touchdowns, kicked five extra points and had a two-point conversion to lead the team to a 55-13 win against the Wallaceburg Tartans Nov. 6.

Benjamin Guy also had two touchdowns; Gabriell Ardell, Issac Maw and Connor O’Brien also scored for the Lancers.

Graham Hazzard and Joseph Watson had Wallaceburg’s touchdowns.

The Lancers now head to Windsor to take on the Windsor-Essex champions.
