Driver dies in crash at Highway 40 and Courtright Line

A London driver is dead after an accident in St. Clair Township.

Just before 5 pm Thursday, the OPP, St. Clair Township firefighters and paramedics were called to Highway 40 and Courtright Line after a minivan and car collided.

A 51 year-old from London was pronounced dead at the scene. Three others were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are still investigating the cause of the crash and are looking for witnesses or anyone with dash-cam footage.

John McGregor defeated LCCVI in the Junior and Senior Boys Volleyball finals on Thursday. The Panthers won a tight junior final in four sets with scores of 25-23, 22-25, 25-21, and 25-21. John McGregor won all three sets of the senior game on Nov. 6 to take home their first LKSSAA title since 2022. .
