Four goal second period powers Bees to eighth win

Alvinston is now 8-0 in Northern Premier Hockey League play after a 7-4 win over the Ironmen at Six Nations Sunday.
James McEwan led the winners with four goals and an assist and now has the divisional scoring lead with 23 points in six games.
Sheldon Thompson, Ryan Gagner and Ethan Mathews also scored for the Killer Bees who won the contest with a four-goal second period.
It was Mathews’ first career goal with the Bees.
Brigden’s Kaden Fulcher made 37 stops for his fifth straight win in the Alvinston crease.
Former Sting and Hamilton Bulldog Brenden Anderson had a goal and three helpers for Six Nations.
Another ex-Sting – Theo Hill – also scored for the Ironmen.
Alvinston’s next game is against the Bluebirds in Tilbury on Saturday night.
The Bees’ next home game is against Strathroy on Nov. 29.
