Two people hospitalized after crash at Confederation and Forest Road

Two people have been injured in an accident at the corner of Confederation Line and Forest Road.

Lambton OPP were called to the corner Monday afternoon before 2 pm and found three vehicles – two passenger vehicles and a pickup – had crashed.

One of the passengers was transported by ORNGE air ambulance to hospital with life-threatening injuries. OPP say the person was seriously hurt but the injuries are now not considered not life threatening. A passenger in the same vehicle was sent to hospital with injuries as well. The pickup truck driver was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Four people in the second passenger vehicle were not hurt.

The area was blocked off for five hours yesterday. The investigation continues.
