Petrolia is one and one after day one of the Petrolia Silver Stick.

The U18 B1 Oilers beat South Kent Lightning 1-0 in the first game and then dropped its second game to the Mooretown Flags 4-0 Saturday.

The Oilers take to the ice again Monday against the Lambton Shores Predators who have one loss against Mooretown. The Monday tilt is the semi finals for the U18 B1 division.

Lambton Shores will also play in the semis Sunday

Meantime the East Lambton Eagles U18 B2 team has also earned a berth into the semi finals with a 2-0 record. The Eagles beat Dresden 5-1 and Riverside 8-1 during Saturday’s action to punch their ticket to the semi-finals Dec. 29.
