OPP say 20 year-old died in NYE crash in Corunna

One person is dead after a New Year’s Eve crash in Corunna.
Around 10:45 pm, St. Clair Township firefighters, paramedics and the Lambton OPP were called to a collision on Bentinck Street after a four-door car struck a tree.
Police say a 20 year-old from Corunna was pronounced dead at the scene.
Bentinck Street is closed between Cameron and Moore Streets. Police expect the road closure to remain in place for several hours for the investigation by the OPP and the West Region Traffic Incident Management Team to continue.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
