Lambton County Plowing match draws more competitors than usual as 2027 IPM in Petrolia nears

Lambton’s International Plowing Match committee has released its logo for the event in Brigden in 2027.
Alyssa DeCiantis, submitted a design in a contest which ran over the summer.
The logo includes a tractor and plow representing the Ontario Plowmen’s Association, the iconic Plowman statue at the Brigden Fairgrounds. It was temporarily taken to the grounds of the 1991 IPM in Enniskillen.
The logo also contains the outline of Lambton County and wheat stalks.
DeCiantis will receive a cash prize, 2027 IPM souvenirs and admission passes.
The 2027 IPM will be held at the Brigden Fairgrounds in St. Clair Township from Sept. 21 to 25, 2027.
