Sarnia Library to open museum on second floor

LCCVI, North Lambton win wrestling titles

Wrestlers from LCCVI and North Lambton won a total of five individual titles at the LKSSAA wrestling championships this week.
Micah Kember, Abbi White and Mya Beaudoin took first-place honours for the Lancers while Jordan Anderson and Austin Dew won their events for the Eagles.
Wyoming’s Abby Phelan of St. Patrick’s also won her event.
Alex Campbell, Benjamin Leystra, Aldesa Deloughery and Kalyn Kwarciak-Bishop of LCCVi all finished second for the Lancers in their events while Eddie Moons and Danica Cates were runners-up for North Lambton.
LCCVI’s Landon VanBoven, Connor O’Brien and Kylee Somerville all finished third while third-place finishes for North Lambton included Bryson Rose-Cole, Carter Bressette, Brody Bruce, Alexia Copper, Daphne Farr, Baily Dortmans and Keilan Smith.
The LCCVI women finished third in the team standings behind Great Lakes and St. Patrick’s and the Lancers tied with North Lambton for fifth place overall.
Northern won overall the team title. St. Patrick’s finished second, one point better than Great Lakes.
