Lambton Lions out of OCAA Mens’ basketball playoffs

AJ Edwards had a career high 31 points, including seven threes but the Lambton Lions fell just short to
Loyalist, 80-74 in first round OCAA men’s basketball playoffs at the Lion’s Den Sunday.
The visiting Lancers from Belleville took the lead with a lay up and one with just over two minutes remaining and never trailed again.
Milos Lukic had 16 points for the Lions while Tyrelle Miller had a tough shooting day in his final game at
Lambton. He shot 4-for-23 and missed all 11 shots from beyond the arc.
He ended up with 11 points, nine boards and seven assists.
Owen Newell added ten points.
Lambton ends the season with an OCAA record of 10-9.
