OPP looking for two people after Brigden gas bar robbed

March 4, 2026

The Independent

Lambton OPP are looking for at least two people after a break-in at the Brigden gas bar.

Around 12:30 am Sunday, police were called to the Super Choice Gas Bar at the corner of Brigden Road and Courtright Line. The business was closed for the night.

Police say two or more people broke the glass front door and walked into the business. The thieves took cash and police said a “undetermined amount of other goods.”

Sources say the thieves damaged locked cases behind the counter and stole a significant amount of cigarettes before fleeing.

Police are looking for a black, 2015 to 2017 Ford F-150 Limited edition with larger rims on the front of the driver side than the back. Police say it also had blue LED lights.

The truck was last seen heading east on Courtright Line.
