Petrolia firefighters were called to Charlotte Eleanor Englehart Hospital Sunday after staff in the building smelled a strong odour coming from one of the rooftop heating and cooling units.
Chief Rick Cousin says the smell was from the drums of roof adhesive on the roof from a fix earlier this month which had been left next to the units.
The drums were moved away from the vents and the building was ventilated.
