Petrolia man dies in Plank Road collision

A Petrolia man has died in a motorcycle accident in Sarnia.
Police were called to a collision on Plank Road east of the Kimball Side Road Sunday around 9:15 pm.
Sarnia police say in a news release the motorcycle was travelling east on Plank Road when it collided with a car travelling west on the same road. The motorcycle driver, a 26 year-old man from Petrolia, was pronouced dead at the scene.
Reconstructionists from the Sarnia Police Traffic unit were called to the scene to investigate. The road was closed until this morning.
Police are still investigating.
