LCCVI, North Lambton capture LKSSAA Soccer Titles

LCCVI’s senior boys soccer team and North Lambton’s senior girls soccer team took home LKSSAA ‘AA’ titles on Monday afternoon in Forest.

LCCVI kicked off the doubleheader by ending North Lambton’s undefeated season with a 4-2 win in the LKSSAA senior boys final.

Liam Lahey led the way for the Lancers, scoring a hat trick. Gavin Carver also found the back of the net for LCCVI.

Kostia Voronko scored both goals for North Lambton.

LCCVI won’t have much time to celebrate their win as they take on L’Essor in the SWOSSAA ‘AA’ final in Windsor on Tuesday afternoon.

North Lambton secured the senior girls title with a 4-2 win over LCCVI in extra time in their LKSSAA final.

Sammie Letkeman, Lainie Rintoul, Kylee Bork, and Ally Rintoul scored for the Eagles.

North Lambton closed out their LKSSAA season on a roll, conceding just three goals during a seven game winning streak.

The Eagles will host Tecumseh Vista Academy in the SWOSSAA ‘AA’ final on Wednesday afternoon in Forest.
