Tyler Coene recently completed one the most rare shots in golf.

He used a nine-iron from 148 yards away to hole his second shot on the par 5, 18th hole at the St. Clair Parkway golf course in Mooretown.

The PGA says the odds of an amateur player successfully holing a double eagle, or an albatross as its known, are six million to one.

The odds are nearly 500 times higher than that of a hole-in-one.
