Thedford Lumberjacks Days brought hundreds of people to the Lambton Shores community over the weekend.
The Kids Lumber Run kicked off Saturday’s festivities bright and early at 9 am. It was a fun run for the youngsters who were divided into their age groups ranging from 5 and 15 years as their raced around the route on the Legacy Recreation Centre grounds. Every runner received a ribbon and a t-shirt.

Lumberjack Days also included the Thedford Optimist car and motorcycle parade as many vintage cars, trucks, motorcycles and even a tractor wound its way through the village ending at the Thedford Legacy Recreation Centre, where a car and motorcycle show was held.

There was even a train on site for the celebration as youngsters took turns going for a ride.
