A 17-year-old was arrested three times in one day in Watford.
Lambton OPP were called to a Watford business around 6 am Aug. 16. Police arrested and charge a 17-year-old with shoplifting and mischief after the store was damaged. The teen was released with conditions to appear in court at a later day.
Police were called back to Watford at 11:30 am the same day for another disturbance at a business. The same teen was arrested and charged with mischief, shoplifting and failing to comply with the terms of release. The 17-year-old was also charged with performing an indecent act in a public place.
The youth was released again. Then shortly after 7 pm, police were called back to the business saying the teen involved in the disturbance had returned.
The teen was arrested and charged with failing to comply with an undertaking and was taken to jail.
Since then, the youth has been released on bail to appear in Sarnia court at a later date.
Because the accused is 17, their identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
