Body of kayaker over due near Grand Bend found

The body of a kayaker who was missing on Lake Huron has been found.
Saturday, Huron OPP were told of an overdue kayaker in the Grand Bend area of the lake. A search was launched with OPP boats, search and rescue helicopters, PointSar Coast Guard Auxilary and private citizens looking for the man in a blue kayak with a yellow life jacket.
Around 7:40 pm, OPP said the search would continue over night.
At 9:40 am Sunday, OPP said the search for the missing kayaker in Grand Bend concluded with the recovery of the man’s body. Huron OPP said he was 37.
Officials thanked emergency response partners and members of the public who assisted with search efforts and say
