Imperial Oil’s $100M turnaround starts
McGregor heads to camp ahead of a pair of international events

Not surprisingly, veteran Tyler McGregor of Forest is one of 25 players named to Team Canada’s Para hockey training camp this month in Surrey, BC.
The camp runs from Sept. 20-25 and is a lead up to two prominent international events.
Team Canada will participate in the International Para Cup in Czechia next month and then be part of the 2026 Para Cup in Newfoundland from Nov. 29-Dec. 5.
“This selection camp is our first opportunity to put into practice the habits, skating and training skills we have developed in our small training hubs together as a full group,” said head coach Boris Rybalka on the Hockey Canada website.
“We expect a highly competitive and intense camp, and as coaches, we expect to see everyone challenging themselves to be our best from the start of camp.”
Canada, with McGregor as its captain, won silver in Para hockey at the Paralympics in Italy earlier this year.
