Two vehicles collided at the corner of Plank Road and Petrolia Line in the Tuesday morning fog.
St. Clair Township Fire Chief Richard Boyes says firefighters arrived to the corner – a site of frequent accidents – to find the damaged vehicles. One had spun off and clipped the guide wire for a hydro pole. It has to be repaired by the power supply was uninterupted.
Boyes says one person was taken to hospital with what appeared to be minor injuries.
He added the fog was heavy at the time. Both public and Catholic schools cancelled buses this morning due to the thick fog.

Emergency responders on scene of accident on Petrolia Line in the fog

The Independent Emergency responders are on the scene of an accident at the corner of Petrolia Line and Plank Road. St. Clair Fire, the OPP and paramedics were called to the corner just before 8 am Tuesday morning in the fog. There are no details about the accident but fire officials are asking people to avoid the area.

The Sarnia organization operates out a home once known as “The Queen of North Christina” which includes an addition for 10 hospice beds. The historic home is in need of repairs to the roof and the cedar shakes which adorn its second-storey exterior.
