Lambton County 4H leader Tami Langstaff is being honoured for her volunteerism.
She was one of six people across the province receiving the 4-H Ontario Outstanding New Volunteer Award.
Langstaff has been involved in 4H in Lambton since 2022, helping the clubs with everything from line dancing to crocheting. She also serves on the association’s board and helps other associations in the area with judging events and building fundraising initiatives.
In nominating Langstaff, those who work with her called her “one of the backbones of Lambton 4-H” who helped “revitalize local programming, managed massive membership growth, and secured the future of our association by mentoring the next generation of volunteers.”
In an online post announcing the winners, the 4H leaders in Lambton said Langstaff lives 4H values every day.
