Citizen steps up to hold Petrolia all-candidates meeting

Mike Bourque was looking for an all candidates meeting in Petrolia.

When the newly retired carpenter couldn’t find a community group or organization putting together a way for voters to get to know the 12 candidates running in the town, he decided to set one up himself.

Bourque says it will be held Thursday, Oct. 15 at Victoria Playhouse Petrolia starting at 7 pm.

Voters will be able to write questions to the candidates which may be posed to those running for office.

The event is schedule for two hours.
