It will be a familiar matchup Sunday as the Petrolia Oilers meet the Mooretown Flags in the Bantam final of the North American Silver Stick.

The Oilers beat Penetang Flames 3-2 Saturday evening to earn their place in the final. The Flags defeated Littletown 5-2 to earn their bearth.

The final goes at 12:30pm Sunday at the Forest Arena

Lancer Girls beat Tartans

Lancers top Wallaceburg 39-14 in football home opener

Hunter Duncan had four touchdowns as the LCCVI Lancers topped Wallaceburg in the first game of the high school football season. LCCVI won the home game 39-14 over the Titans. Along with the four touchdowns, Duncan had five extra points in the Lancer effort. Gabriel Ardell, Owen Love and Isaac Maw also made it into the end zone for LCCVI.
