UPDATE: Petrolia man faces impaired charges after truck flips

A 22 year old  Petrolia man has been arrested after a pickup truck flipped on Oil Springs LIne.

Lambton OPP and the Oil Springs Fire Department were called to Oil Springs Line just west of Oil Heritage Road in South Plank road after reports around 8:30 p.m.after a Chevrolet pick-up truck with four occupants rolled..

Police closed the road in that area while Technical Traffic Collision Investigators assisted in the investigation. The road has since been re-opened.

The driver suffered a minor injury and has been treated at hospital and released back into OPP custody where he remains at this time while charges are pending. Ben Waite has been charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm and driving over the legal limit.

A 21 year old  Danny Gibbons was transported to hospital with life threatening injuries.

No other injuries have been reported.
