Pregnancy Options and Support Center speaks to Women’s Missionary Society

Sarnia- Lambton WMS Presbyterial Annual meeting was held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Petrolia  recently.

Rev. Janine Dekker from Laurel Lea St. Matthew’s led the Bible Study on the Feeding of the Five Thousand emphasizing the importance of the verbs in this parable.

Guest speaker was Tina Hunter, Director of the Petrolia branch of the Pregnancy Option and Support Centre. Her job is to inform young women what their options are and to give all the support and love they need. They provide free pregnancy tests, information and support, prenatal and parenting classes, adoption information, post-abortion counselling, baby clothes and needs. A crisis hotline is available  24 hours a day  and 7 days a week.

Officers for 2014 were installed by Rev. Harvey Osborne. Beverley Cassel from St. Andrew’s , Sarnia is President.
