The Wyoming Lady Wranglers Mite-Squirt Team competed in the Mitchell FastballFest Tournament on the weekend. Friday saw Wyoming take on the host team winning 14-0. On Saturday they played Fullurton and Exeter #2, defeating both teams 12-6 and 4-1, respectively. The wins placed the team at the top of the A Division, ensuring them a birth in the Championship game on Sunday. In a hard fought contest Sunday afternoon, Wyoming held off Exeter #1, beating them 5-3 to take home the Championship. Clutch hits and stellar pitching were the theme of the weekend, with Wyoming demonstrating total team effort, as noted by all the teams Wyoming faced. The Lady Wranglers will continue league play with their next tournament taking place in Innerkip, the weekend of June 14.

Rural policing relief coming from province
