Person taken to hospital after accident on Plowing Match Road

The OPP, Petrolia/North Enniskillen Fire and paramedics are on the scene of a car accident on Plowing Match Road just outside of Petrolia.
Few details are available from police but a car on Plowing Match Road between Lasalle and Petrolia Line left the road and veered into a deep ditch on the east side of the quiet, gravel, country road.
As firefighters worked to remove the person from in the vehicle around 9:20 am Thursday, only a door could be seen among the reeds in the ditch. It’s not clear how long the vehicle had been in the ditch.
The condition of the person was not available yet.
