Lambton OPP Criminal Investigation Unit have released full description of a suspect in the armed robbery at the CIBC bank on Petrolia Line.
OPP want help to identify the man they think is involved.

He’s described as about 6 feet tall. He was wearing a grey hoodie, a ball cap, a white shirt, winter gloves, sunglasses, and a he had a black bandana covering his face.

Police say the man fled on foot in a north easterly direction through the adjacent grocery store parking area with an undisclosed amount of cash.

During the robbery the suspect produced what appeared to be a handgun. No one was hurt.

Armed officers searched back streets and wooded areas around the Oil Heritage District Community Centre for the man for several hours but were unable to locate him.

The Lambton OPP would like to speak to anyone who was in the area around the time of the robbery.
