The Petrolia Rep Oilers’ dreams of an International Silver Stick title have ended.
The midget team lost in a defensive battle in the semi-finals to Ayr 1-0 this evening.
The Oilers were expecting a tough game. Friday, Petrolia narrowly beat Ayr in a shootout before going on to beat South Grenville and Troy, Michigan to go to the semi finals.
