Getting things ready for a busy Saturday in Petrolia
June 5, 2015
Petrolia Rotary members were out in full force recently getting the band shell in Victoria Park ready for Saturday.
According to President Les Whiting they cleaned up some graffitti and repaired some rotting boards before the day of music.
People will fill the park Saturday for Pizzafest between noon and 7pm as eight local restaurants serve up $2 slice pizza.
There will be entertainment at the Rotary Band Shell also.
And then at 8pm, the Eagles’ Tribute Band Hotel California takes to the stage for The Big Dig Kick Off Party. The free concert marks the beginning of the Petrolia Line reconstruction. It begins the first week of July and will be spread out of the course of two years.
