Chase that starts in Alvinston ends in Lambton Shores with charges

A incident which started in Alvinston ended in a bush in Lambton Shores with a Sarnia man facing a handful of charges.

Lambton OPP were called to a business on Nauvoo Road in Alvinston after someone thought they spotted a stolen vehicle. Police found the auto driving around in Lambton Shores a couple hours later. When the driver spotted police he sped away. Police found the empty vehicle running and stuck in a cemetery. The driver had fled into the boos.

The OPP contained the area and called in the Emergency Response Team and the Canine Unit. The man was found a short time later and now faces eight charges including theft.

The 26 year-old Sarnia man was in court today for a bail hearing.
