Issued at 11:26 Saturday 27 June 2015
SummaryRain, at times heavy, is expected. An unseasonably strong low pressure system over Ohio will bring a significant rainfall to the regions today and tonight as it tracks northeast just south of Lake Erie.

The heaviest rain will move out of the Windsor and Sarnia areas by this evening, and later on tonight for regions further east. Latest indications now suggest that many areas will receive near 50 millimetres of rain by Sunday morning.

Locally higher rainfall amounts are possible in areas that receive downpours during a brief thunderstorm. Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.

Rainfall Warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected. Environment Canada meteorologists will update alerts as required.
