Voting to choose next federal government underway

It’s Election Day in Canada.
Polling clerks in Petrolia say voter turnout has been steady already this morning. There were 70 per cent more people who cast ballots at advanced polls across the country this year.
In Sarnia-Lambton voters can choose between Marilyn Gladu (Conservative), Dave McPhail (Liberal), Jason McMichael (NDP) and Peter Smith (Green Party).
In Lambton-Kent-Middlesex, Incumbent Bev Shipley (Conservative) is facing Ken Filson (Liberal), Rex Isaac (NDP) and Jim Johnston (Green Party).
The polls are open until 9:30 pm.
