New scholarship program at Great Lakes created in honour of late Sarnia judge

There was plenty of food, music and good company as the Douglas family and their friends hosted a Christmas Dinner in Alvinston Boxing Day. The idea came from Jeannette Douglas and her daughter, Heather, who first thought of the idea to help those in need and later decided it should be a community meal. About 70 people came out for turkey and all the fixings including three-year-old Kailyn Jones of Inwood, who was trying to decide what sweets to have for desserts, and Jamie Wrightman of Alvinston, who shared a conversation with Brooke-Alvinston Councillor Frank Nemcek during lunch.
