Impaired charges laid in afternoon crash near Port Franks

St. Clair Township has another champion to claim.
While the world watched the Olympics, a local motocross star lit up the track to claim another race.
Brigden’s Cole Thompson was named national motocross champion, Aug. 7.
Thompson dominated the final event on the Rock Star Energy Drink Motocross Nationals tour in Barrie.
The Brigden racer won the event for his seventh win of the season in the 10-race series.
He won the overall point standings by finishing no worse than third all season long to become the M2X National Champion.
