Ministry of Labour investigates workplace death

The Ministry of Labour is investgating after an Inwood man who was working on a roof fell to his death.

Tuesday morning, OPP, EMS and Petrolia/North Enniskillen Fire Department were called to Rokeby Line and found the man had been working on a roof about 25-feet high when he fell.

He was taken to hospital where he died.

The Ministry of Labour is investigating the accident.

Meantime, the community of Brooke-Alvinston is remembering Bill Swan for being dedicated to community. Swan was active in the SilverStick organization and was on the ice as a minor hockey referee for years. Visitation for Swan will be held Friday with the funeral at the Brooke-Alvinston-Inwood Community Centre Saturday morning.
