Someone’s Spidy senses were tingling as the Shriners came by in their mini cars during the Watford Santa Claus Parade Saturday. The parade celebrated Canada, including its heroes. Hundreds of people lined the main street for the event. The Watford Rotary was inspired by Canadian Heroes and the Watford Knights of Columbus spread the meaning for the the season with its float. Jackson Hamel, who was with the Watford Optimist, was handing out candy while dressed as a reindeer.

One person injured in transport crash on Highway 402

The Independent Traffic is backed up on Highway 402 on the westbound lanes at Kerwood Road. Lambton OPP say just before 6:30am, the police, paramedics and Warwick firefighters were called to a crash involving two tractor trailers in the westbound lanes in Warwick Township. Province sets aside $6M for abandoned wells, like last year
