Lambton OPP say one man may be responsible for two armed robberies in Corunna Sunday.

Police say a man came into a variety store in the Lyndoch and HIll St. area around 6:50 am with a weapon but didn’t get any cash. He did make off with an undisclosed amount of money from the Foodland down the street. The man was last seen leaving the area on foot.  There were no injuries reported.

He is described as white, 30-35-years-of-age, very thin, short brown hair, eye glasses, wearing a black balaclava, grey sweater, blue jeans and a black baseball cap. He has a spider web tattoo on his right hand.

The Lambton OPP and the West Region OPP Crime Unit are continuing to investigate these incidents.

The OPP is searching for a suspect who is considered armed and dangerous in relation to this active investigation.
