Crash on Petrolia Line sends at least one person to hospital

Firefighters from Brigden had to use the jaws of life to free at least one person from a vehicle after an accident on Petrolia Line.
About 10:30 pm Monday a mini van and another vehicle collided at the corner of Plank Road and Petrolia Line. One person was trapped in their vehicle and had to be extracted by firefighters. An ambulance left the scene about a half hour after the call came in.
Police have released no information on the cause of the accident, the number of people involved or whether charges will be laid.
