Second suspect in Petrolia robbery arrested
May 24, 2019
Lambton OPP say a second man suspected in a convenience store robbery in Petrolia has been arrested.
On May 14, around 11:40 pm, a man walked into the Circle K in Petrolia and robbed the store. Two days later, a Wellington St. store in Sarnia was robbed.
Police arrested John Dobbie, 46, of Sarnia and charged him with two counts of robbery with a weapon, the use of a disguise and possession of a dangerous weapon on Wednesday.
They also issued a call to find Andrew Stirling, 40 of Sarnia. He was wanted on the same charges.
Yesterday OPP took Stirling into custody. He’s facing the same charges as Dobbie.
The pair will be in court today.
