BREAKING Ontario schools to be closed until April 5 to deal with COVID 19
March 12, 2020
Education Minister Stephen Lecce is announcing Ontario schools will be closed three weeks to deal with concerns over COVID-19.
Students will be off for March Break next week. The government just introduced Ministerial Order to close the school for two weeks after the break.
Since the World Health Organization announced the flu-like virus was a pandemic, sport organizations like the NHL, NBA and major league baseball, have suspended their season. The music industry has cancelled the JUNOs. It’s all in a bid to reduce the spread of the fast-spreading virus which is particularly harmful to seniors. About 10 to 15 per cent of people over 80 die when they get COVID 19.
